DEMO SONGS — pick one, tweak each PART's tone while it plays, then 💾 SAVE ▸ TONES up in the header

Output
Audio out
Applies live, and is remembered across reloads. Every Tiliqua also
enumerates as an output, because macOS opens both directions together — nothing
in the gateware plays host audio, so those entries are marked rather than hidden.
No sound is a real sink, not a gain of zero: the meters go on reading.

demos.json—
Where 📂 LOAD reads and 💾 SAVE writes. The browser hands the page a
file handle and not a path — the folder you picked is deliberately not readable
by a web page, so the name is all this row can say. Clear puts this browser back
to how it greets a first visitor — an empty USER bank, the demo songs as shipped, and
no remembered target. It clears what the browser holds, never the file on disk.

Firmware
On the board is the build stamp the module reports over USB
— its own answer, not this page's. Only the Tiliqua can give one, and only a bitstream
built after the stamp existed; the Basys 3's link is a raw UART with no descriptors of
its own, so it has no way to say. This repo ships is what
boards/*/firmware/ holds right now, read out of the artefacts themselves
— the Vivado header in top.bit, and the tar entry of the Tiliqua
archive's inner bitstream, which is when it was built rather than when it was copied
in. The two clocks are minutes apart on purpose: the module names the instant its
build started, the archive the instant it finished. The commit is the
part to compare. Ask the board is there because macOS does not pass that stamp through
unchanged — it caches every USB name it has seen for a module, keyed on fields that
are the same in every build, so after a reflash it keeps reporting the build you just
replaced. The button reads the module directly instead. It opens the browser's device
picker once per site and never again; nothing is sent to the module and no audio or
MIDI is interrupted.
